Thursday Thoughts

Anyone ever have those most fabulous mornings?  I am!  I woke up early, stayed on time getting out the door, hit little to no traffic and got to work 15 minutes earlier then usual. Oh and I also got the most awesome sleep!  I hope everyone else's day is off to a fantabulous start!

My thoughts on this Thursday:

1. Tomorrow we get our bonuses! Fabulous!  We get paid weekly and since we get paid on a Wednesday that makes two checks this week. Awesome!!!!!  Sadly, said bonus goes right to my credit card bill.

2. Next week I leave Monday for Wisconsin, I'll be there until Wednesday mid day on business, I love to see new things!

3. Next week starts the begining of a new quarter at work, oh the possibilities!

4. I'm in 2 fall blog swaps and I'm over the moon! Who doesn't love suprises and free stuff!  Did I mention I love to buy for others.  WINNING!

5.  Fells Point Fesitval this weekend-



I'm going with my best friend from Kindergarten and her daughter and maybe meeting up with a coworker.  Oh how I love me some fall weather and outdoor festivals!

Friday Confessional

{1} I confess.. I haven't blogged nearly as much as I want to but with all the craziness in my life I've almost been at a lack for words.  What's going on currently?  An immediate family member is very mentally ill, my mom has been gone a year as of Wednesday, the quarter end at work is today & I have jury duty today.

{2} I confess.. I'm finally eligable for my upgrade at verizon and that means I'll be the proud owner of an IPhone 5, whenever they come out.

{3} I confess..we find out about bonuses next week (I think) and I'm hoping it's a fair amount see over $500.

{4} I confess..I love sons of anarchy, even though I was raised by a cop. 

{5} I confess.. I've been shopping like it's going out of style and it's killing my budget.  I stress shop, sue me.

{6} I confess.. I'm way to stressed and way too broke to afford a massage, I think I'm going to craft a little thing weekend.  I used to do with my mom and I think it'll relieve some stress and give me something to do.

Today's one year since my mom passed away. I can't believe it's been a year, really a whole year without her phone calls, her support, her reassuring words.  She was single handedly the most important person in my life.  My parents didn't divorce until I was older but I was always a momma's girl, from the time I was born (3 months early) until 17 we were inseparable.  Before my moms death we weren't as close as we used to be due to circumstance but I don't doubt that my mom did what she thought was in the best interest of my brother and myself.

And today mom I thank you, for blessing me with your presence, no matter how short.  A lifetime wouldn't have been enough.  I know you are looking down on me and keeping an eye out daily.  I miss you everyday, it's hard not to be able to talk to you.  

I hope that noone has to experience this pain, I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.  Friends hold your family and your parents tight, life is a fragile thing and you never know when your time is up.

Mascara Splurge- Benefit Yes They're Real

Since I'm an emotional shopper and if theres a coupon involved, lordy be!  Ulta will be the death of me.

Benefit- They're Real Mascara ($22)

What is promises:lengths, lifts, separates.

I LOVE this product, typically I wouldn't pay $22 for something that will only last 6 months but this product is phenomenal. I saw it while patronizing my local Ulta (coupon in hand).  The before and after on the packaging looked amazing and I figured if I didn't like it I could return it.  I've tried Doir Show, The new covergirl in the candy colored bottles, MAC mascara and much more!  I was a fan of the MAC and Doir show but that was BEFORE..

This lil beauty does everything is promises, my lashes look voluminousness, curled and thick!   Bonus: it doesn't irritate my contacts.  Did I mention the brush, it's meant to be used horizontal and vertical, it has a rounded tip with nodules on it to help lift and separate lashes even more.
